My baby girl one year 10 months old. Yesterday we gave her typhoid vaccination. Late night she was restless. Her body temperature was 98.6, 99.1 etc. We gave her sponging. Today also the temperature goes up and comes to normal. She has seizures problem. We are much worried about her. Does putting AC or giving sponge causes shivering? I am afraid that it may cause seizures. Pls tell us what to do

Give sponging with lukewarm water. Give crocin drops as per weight. There is less chance of seizures due to vaccine induced fever.

Hi, Temperature is normal for the age. Give sponging with Luke warm water and not cold water. You can use AC/ fan. Temperature more than 99.4 deg F is fever, you can give paracetamol if fever 6 hrly.
