In what circumstances, would the dentist REFUSE to recommend teeth bleaching to as a method of teeth whitening?

In case the patient has extreme sensitivity of teeth or cavities or erosion of teeth that are not filled , in case of severe root recession etc. bleaching may not be recommended. Also if a patient has lot of front fillings the fillings do not bleach and have to be replaced a few weeks after bleaching in case bleaching is done

Bleaching is not an essential or emergency treatment and accepting or refusing to treat a patient for bleaching is at their discretion.

It’s the choice of doctor to treat or refuse any patient ... but i would refuse anyone with unrealistic expectations from treatment of anyone that refuses to accept my line of treatment or doesn’t comply with my instructions or if I’m not expert with that particular treatment that is in the best interest of the patient.
