Hi Doctors, My 13 month old daughter has not got her teeth erupted yet. The front teeth(upper and bottom) are visible in the gums. Is it normal and we can wait for some more time for the eruption. If so how long do we need to wait? Please advise. Thanks. Regards, Raju

Hiii... Mostly permanent teeth starts to erupt at the age of 6-7 then sequentially complete by age of 14. If she is still not having erupted upper & lower front teeth, then you should get OPG (full mouth x ray) done & visit your dentist. Because front teeth are the first to erupt at the age of 7.

In some children the delay in teeth eruption may be due to nutritional or developmental factors .There is no need to worry about,as you can already see teeth erupting . Wait for another 3-4 months ,if you still don't see any significant changes you can visit a dentist.
