I got my LASIK done 10 days back. Eye strain and headache occurs when I sit in front of computer for long. Also, tears come out of my eyes. Please suggest a solution.

Hello dear...dont panic....u r absolutely alright....ur problems are due to dryness...during lasik..when we create flap ....nerves are damaged ...moreover when laser hit the eye..again nerves got damaged so....patients face dryness for initial 1-2 months....now when we work on laptop..our blink rate decreases leading to dryness....so this dryness stimulates brain for producing extra tears which overflows....so relax and use lubricating eyedrop frequently

Hello there, Immediately after surgery, your eye may itch, burn and be watery. You'll probably have blurred vision. You generally will experience little pain, and you'll usually recover your vision quickly. You will be given pain medication or eyedrops to keep you comfortable for several hours after the procedure. You'll be able to see after surgery, but your vision won't be clear right away. It takes about two to three months after your surgery before your eye heals and your vision stabilizes. Your chances for improved vision are based, in part, on how good your vision was before surgery....
