T shaped uterus

Hi, I am 32 years old and have been trying to conceive for past 10 months. Recently, I visited doctor and did some pre-conception tests including hsg test based on which the doctor diagnosed me with moderate T shaped uterus. I have regular periods and healthy ovaries and dont have any blocks in my tubes. I have slightly higher prolactin level, vit B12 and D deficiency for which i have been prescribed medicines. The doctor has asked me to undergo hysteroscopy metroplasty. Is this surgery required or is it possible to have a successful conception and pregnancy without it if I become healthy otherwise? Thanks

If septum is thick and complete operation, I need to see if the report or MRI to confirm
