Swollen right mouth
Swollen right side of mouth since 5 days. Unable to eat properly as I am unable to open my mouth. Problem while chewing food.pain near jaw bones. Saw a doctor and he gave medicines for 5 days- D-Rise 60K (to be taken once a week), Dolonex DT (one daily after meals), BecoZinc (one daily after meals). I cant see much improvement even after taking it since 4 days. No pain in tooth or gums. Pains while i sleep in night or while eating food. What should I do now??
Get the IOPA X-ray of the affected area and it will give the clear picture as what is the reason. Sometime the dental caries exposes pulp which causes a peri apical abscess which is usually characterised by swelling of gingiva adjacent to that teeth.There may also be the sinus tract.
The interpretation of IOPA X-ray will guide about the correct treatment plan.

You can take :-
Tab Flemiclav 625 mg twice daily after meals for 3 days
Tab Zerodol SP twice daily after meals
Cap Becozinc once daily after meals.
Health Tips
Do warm saline mouth rinses twice daily.

Get an x Ray or OPG done of the same region. Might be periapical infection in 2nd or third molar. Antibiotics & anti-inflammatory medicines should be taken to subside your pain & swelling. Also tooth in question should be treated either by RCT or extraction. Visit a dentist.
Health Tips
1. avoid giving hot fermentation from outside.
2. If possible avoid sleeping from that side until swelling subsides.
3. open your jaws wide by putting 3 fingers inbetween your jaw and push away both jaw
