Also i am running a low fever about 99.5 from past 4 days and feeling feverish from past week. Please help and i am quite anxious regarding this. What it could be. Anything serious?? Age 22

Hernia is uncommon possibility at your age. Because your problem is associated with fever possibility of infection is high however considering your age it is very necessary that you get yourself examined by surgeon.

If inguinal hernia is ruled out by an USG, it could be a swollen lymph node- highly likely due to the fever. In such a case an antibiotic and anti inflammatory should help your case.
Next Steps
Get an USG of the groin
