I was hit by a football on my left hand. I had an X-ray done for my wrist and it said: 1. No fracture or dislocation 2. The radiocarpal, carpometacarpal and intercarpal joints are normal in configuration and alignment 3. No bony abnormality is identified 4. Minimal periarticular soft tissue swelling seen around the wrist 5. Unremarkable radiographs of the left wrist What does this mean?

If your injury is recent, use otc pain medication and rest your wrist.  If pain persists beyond a week meet an orthopaedic doctor closeby
