On and off swelling, redness and pain on finger tips. It happens for 10-15 mins and then disappear after some time.

That's probably due to what is called raynaud's phenomenon,which is due to temperature changes,and is not rare,but not very common either,occurring usually in winter months. Avoid handling very cold or hot substances. No medicine is required.
