Can we replace ecosprin 75 mg with eliquis 2.5 mg, patient is covid positive almost recovered at home & is now on a tapered dose of16 mg steroid ( methylprednisolone )

Ecospirin 75mg most commonly prescribed medication as precaution for blood clotting. Though Eloquis2.5mg has same effect but indications for this medication is different. You should consider consulting a physician if you have any symptoms due to ecospirin. Otherwise there is no need to change medication.

What is the age, weight, s.creatinine levels of the patient. It is advisable to continue ecosprin till he/ she recovers from covid and eliquis can be started after evaluating the patient
