Suggestions for anti anxiety

Can someone suggest OTC medicine for long term treatment of anxiety other than SSRI and Benzo ?I Have tried ssri they seem to have a swdatinf effect on me

Hi, OTC medications are not advisable for Anxiety. Best non medical treatment is relaxation techniques, counselling, CBT, talk therapy etc. Anxiety Anxiety is a very common part of our life. We should know how to deal with it and learn coping skills, as life keeps throwing challenges at us.

Hi Anxiety is just a symptom. Firstly you need to get evaluated why are u having anxiety. Various types of therapies and medications are available depending upon your diagnosis. So the first step would be a proper diagnosis to decide line of treatment both medications and psychological therapies

There are no otc medicines for anxiety. Plus you should talk to a psychiatrist for a proper treatment for anxiety. SSRI and Benzos might me required at an appropriate doses for help. And there are SSRIs which are non sedating. Thanks
