Random sugar normal but HbA1c is in diabetic range. It is not much derranged so it is veey new Few life style modifications can help but ultimately u need sugar meds. Get tested frequently n repeat HbA1 c after a month.it is still high then light sugar meds can help. There is nothing alarming abt ur report.but it is said prevention is better than cure so u need to take precautions n not eat direct sugars and add more physical activity in ur life.. This will help If u hav family history of diabetes then extra caution need to be taken.

While your random sugar is ok but it is not reliable. Your hbA1c that is glycosylated haemoglobin is more than 6.5 you are diabetic. Basically it is your blood sugar of last 3 months that is refelected in your hbA1c, better to start anti diabetic drugs like metformin but before that get renal function test done and send me the reports personally on my number 8895_9099_75 or consult me privately here on practo. And with that you need counselling, life style changes, diet and regular exercise. Not necessary that you need drugs, I have a diabetic clinic and since last 2 years I have seen a lot of patients blood sugar back to normal by just food, exercise and avoidance of alcohol, smoking and stress. Contact be here on practo or on my number, you can either call or message.
