Usually, 0.5-1 cm healing of the fistula tract is expected per Ksharsutra change. It is assessed by measuring the length of Ksharsutra at every visit. So it will be better if you ask about the no. of ksharsutra changes required for complete healing to your treating Proctologist. MRI findings are not conclusive all the time regarding measurements of the fistula tract. so trust your treating Proctologist.....

It may take approximately upto 8-10 weeks of Ksharasutra thread change for the tract to cut completely. After that it may take upto 1-2 months for complete healing.
