I have been having a sharp intermittent pain in the hypogastric region since yesterday. This is centrally located exactly where the stomach meets the pelvis. It gets worse while I sit or stretch, but does not pain if I press down on the pain. It happened when my trouser bit down on this location while having a full bladder. As for my medical history I have no regular medicines prescribed. I have had gastrointestinal issues and urine infection often (the latter mainly due to retention due to unclean washrooms at workplace). Other than this, I have taken the 2nd dose of the covishield vaccine yesterday. My family physician is not available at present so I don't know what medicines to take. Please help?
