First of all we need to know the extent of prolapse. You can go for strict bed rest for next 72 hrs which will help to decrease the inflammation and pain gradually. Give hot water fomentation to low back. And try to lie straight on your back with pillow under the knees for atleast 2 times a day for 20-30 mins each time.
Next Steps
As the pain decreases accordingly visit the nearest physiotherapist and start some treatment at clinic with some exercises for complete rehabilitation of back.
Health Tips
Do not bend forward, don't sit or stand for long duration and always try to get up from bed and lie down on bed while taking a side only.
