Your picture fits a post-food-poisoning / viral mesenteric lymphadenitis - normal CBC, no diarrhoea, temp under 100, and reactive mesenteric nodes on USG all point that way rather than typhoid. Typhoid dot is a poor test either way; a blood culture or
CRP would settle it, but with a normal CBC I would not start cefixime blindly for 10 days - that only breeds resistance and upsets the gut more. Stick to plenty of fluids, light non-oily food, paracetamol when the temperature rises. Go to a hospital the same day if fever crosses 101 persistently, you get repeated vomiting, blood in stool, or the abdominal pain becomes sharp and localised.
Next Steps
Get a
CRP and repeat CBC, and a urine routine - cheap tests that tell viral from bacterial. Book a Practo consult with me with these reports and I will tell you clearly whether an antibiotic is needed at all.
