Your initial stomach pain after eating spicy travel food strongly points to acute gastritis or a superficial peptic ulcer (an irritation in your stomach lining). However, the sudden appearance of blackish-grey stool combined with feeling lightheaded requires immediate medical attention.
In gastroenterology, dark, black, or tarry stools (known as melena) can indicate an Upper Gastrointestinal Bleed (UGIB), meaning your irritated stomach lining or an ulcer may be oozing a small amount of blood. As that blood travels through your digestive tract, stomach acid digests it, turning it black. While it is entirely possible that your lightheadedness is just from travel dehydration or regular menstrual blood loss, we must rule out an internal stomach bleed as our absolute top priority."
