Spotting or light flow

Spotting since 5/6 days, only while wiping I see 2-3 spots on the toilet paper otherwise hardly. But since 2 days it's a little more than spotting. I thought maybe it's just a delayed cycle with light flow. What could it be? Something major? It's definitely not pregnancy or anything related to pregnancy. So what else could it be?

Sometimes there may be a polyp ( outgrowth) from the uterus's mouth (cervix) . Sometimes there may be an ovarian cyst. You need a thorough examination by a gynaecologist and an ultrasound of pelvis.
