Sperm motility and count

Sperm count is 36 million per ml and motility is 20%. Is this sufficient for planning a baby or not?? If not, what should be done.

Hi, 36 mill /ml is a decent count. But motility, especially rapid linear progression, needs to be better. Get two more semen tests done in a gap of about 3 weeks each, and each time with an abstinence of 2-3 days. Make sure there is no spillage while collecting the semen. Send the entire reports (not just count and motility) so that we can understand what should be done.
Next Steps
You can plan for the baby right away, because we cannot rule out chances of pregnancy with this count and motility. Treatment (if warranted) will improve the chances further.
