Sore neck and back

My back and neck are almost always achy/ sore. They feel like they need to be popped a lot of the time or to be like straightened out or something. What should I do to help this? I'm a student and I know I don't have good posture, but constantly needing to lean over a desk on a daily basis isn't going away anytime soon. Would a chiropractic adjustment be necessary? A new bed and pillow situation perhaps? I've had the same mattress for awhile and I think it might be making things worse.

• Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. • Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily. • Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. • Avoid bending in front. o Back Stretching. o Do the cat/cow stretch. o Core Strengthening Exercises • Neck Exercises. • Neck Stretching • Use cervical pillow. • Use Back Support. • Self Massage the back of neck.
