Hi
My son is19months old but not able to full speak. He says about 3-4words only and doesnt interact much. Gets along with siblings and plays with toys as well.

Hi,
In most cases this is normal, however I would ask if there is a family history of delayed speech in the Father/ his brothers.
If the speech does not develop at all over the next 3 months, I would recommend getting a hearing evaluation after consulting your doctor,

Kindly observe what kind of environment is the child surrounded with. Parents need to develop interactive ways and strategies of communication with the child. Get to know what are the preferences of the child in terms of sensory play. In most of the cases, children interact a lot better when others engage in the child's choice of activity. Also, be realistic and set goals for your child in order to avoid too many demands and frustration over the child.
