Solution for submucosal fibroid

2026-04-22 21:51:30
Hello doctors, I am a 28-year-old unmarried woman diagnosed with a 3 cm submucosal fibroid suspected to ne in my uterine cavity (doctor suggested operation) , but after checking in MRI I was recently laid off from my previous job and am currently unemployed(currently I don't even have enough money to do an MRI) , so undergoing surgery at this time would put me under financial strain and make job searching more challenging. Additionally, my mother is unwell and depends on me, so this is not the right time for surgery. I have been prescribed hormonal tablets by doctor, which helped control my heavy bleeding in April, and my period cycle stopped within 9 days. are there any medical or non-surgical treatment options  that can help manage symptoms(heavy bleeding and horrible pain during periods) and possibly shrink the fibroid until I am in a better position to consider surgery? Thank you.
