Hello sir, I wanted to know if one can smoke cigarettes if having schizophrenia. i used to smoke a box and would be gratelly satisfied but after psychosis, i have stopped smoking, is there a problem in smoking?

Hello. Smoking decrease the effect of antipsychotic medications by half. So indirectly it will affect the improvement .It is better to avoid smoking
