This is Sciatica. It can be managed very nicely. However needs clinical examination and assessment of severity of symptoms.

You are having backache and is radiating to left leg for the last threes years you are also having sensory symptoms like numbness I feel you need to be examined and evaluated and needsMRI scans of lumbar spine

Hello Practo user, Please give detailed history of your problem. . What treatment have you taken past three years. Does your job involve sitting for a long time? Has you problem increase last few days? Any medical conditions like Diabetes or hypothyroidism?
