Slipped disc in L5 S1

Diffuse posterior bulge of L5-S1 disc with medium sized left paracentral protrusion, compressing left budding nerve root , indenting thecal sac and encroaching bilateral neural foramina.. Doctor says surgery is the only option but i don't want any type of surgery ... Please tell me the alternate option

Most of the times surgery is not needed. But it needs clinical examination.

Hello Practo User, You have to give more clinical information. Giving advice based on the MRI REPORTS is not correct. Not every condition like you mentioned will require surgery. If you are worried of surgery or you have not understood the situation well, I advice you to take a second opinion from another Orthopaedic doctor.
