Slip disc in L4 and L5, sciatica symptom

1.5 years back I lifted gas cylinder in an unbalanced position. After that back pain started, I thought it will be fine in some time and continued playing cricket and other works. But from past 6 months pai has started in my right leg till the knee. Now it's like I can walk comfortably for 15 mins bit after that pain in my leg will be severe and I will have to sit for 1 min after that again I can walk. I have pain in back, buttocks and legs. It's king of sciatica I think. Neurosurgeon suggested TLIF surgery as bulging is more and it's blocking nerve. Now I'm looking for some non surgical treatment, surgery is the final option. My weight is around 90kg. Please guide me with the treatment, I don't want to go for medicines or surgery, I have started homeopathy treatment 15 days back. Thanks in Advance.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana -- Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Greetings,  sorry about the pain.
Next Steps
Get to see a physiotherapist to solve your problem.  Your case doesn't warrant surgery,  just that you have dragged this for six months now.  this could have been corrected long back.
Health Tips
posture correction is the need of the hour rather than surgery.

See ur symptoms are typical of canal stenosis..which is clear on MRI report too...i will suggest to go for surgery.. as if it progresses little more than the current condition ... u will face more problems... though you can try nerve root blocks plus aggressive physiotherapy... discuss with ortho doc for options..
