Slip disc and sciatica

I have slip disc L4/L5/S1 ,pain in lower back and radiating to the right leg. I got cortisone injected on last Monday to S1 for the herniated disc for sciatica. The pain has come down but the right leg is numb from calf muscle down till the toe . What are the suggested treatments to reduce the numbness and relief from pain ? Please refer to screenshot from the MRT.

Yes some numbness after injection is normal but it will gradually wear off.looking at the disc size it needs discectomy of some form. Get it done such size discs are uncommon to subside themselves
