Hi dear Many things play a role in increasing BP from family history to diet and also stress So we need to look at all the parameters and try to reduce them from ur information yes u are overweight so try reducing ur weight . It is a possibility that BP might decrease on its own after weight reduction. Eating less amount of salt in ur diet will also help reducing ur pressures automatically. If u have further queries please consult Take care
