Sleeping for longer hours now is OK . Many 6-month-old babies begin to sleep for longer stretches at night, sometimes up to 6–8 hours or more. This is usually a sign that:
• The baby is getting enough nutrition during the day
• They are neurologically maturing
• Their sleep patterns are stabilizing
