SIR/MADAM HALF OF MY 2ND MOLAR IS CHIPED AND I WANT TO SAVE MY TOOTH. CAN IT BE SAVED BY RCT AND CAPPING. I GOT MY IMPACTION DONE 2 WEEKS EARLIER. PLZ RSPOND QUICKLY AS I AM A BIT SCARED OF DENTURE COSTS IF IT CANT BE SAVED.

If the tooth fracture does not extend till root ..it can be saved. The extent of fracture Need to be judged by check up and dental x-ray .

Get an x-ray done to find out the extent of damage to your Second molar. if things look bright then your tooth can be saved by doing a root canal treatment and a crown over it. all the best and don't worry. every thing will fall in place once you consult your near by doctor
