Am 36 weeks pregnant ....in scan they mentioned single loop of umbilical cord noted around baby neck...is that a problem for normal delivery?

it will be assessed during the labour only. If the cord does not let baby to come down or causes fetal distress, only then there is an indication of doing cesarean, otherwise u can have a normal delivery.
Next Steps
Wait for the labour pains to start and you will be assessed accordingly by your obstetrician
