Shoulder stiffness while sleeping

I have a serious stiffness and pain while and after sleeping, i used few pain relief sprays and tablets.. But it's just a temporary relief for me...i want to know the reason for this pain..

Hello It might be muscle spasm
Next Steps
remove the pillow while sleeping hot water bag application two times a day rest for one week don't lift any heavy weight objects

Physiotherapy stretching exercises  two times a day after complete subsidence of pain
