It's difficult to say without a proper diagnosis, but it's possible that you have a shoulder impingement or rotator cuff injury. These injuries can be caused by repetitive overhead motions, like throwing a cricket ball. It's important to see a doctor or physical therapist for a proper diagnosis and treatment plan. In some cases, rest, physical therapy, and changes to your throwing technique can help manage the pain and improve your condition without surgery. However, in some cases surgery may be necessary.
