Hi,
My daughter has hydronephrosis in left kidney. Upon test, doctors confirmed that she has infection.
The kidney function test came out normal.But there are certain things which is still a point of concern.
Her CRP is 330
CUE is 25-30
Wbc is 28000
Pls advice. Currently doctors are giving antibiotics.
Just wanted to understand if there is any serious problem? Whether this is common among kids and is it curable??
The tests indicate there is an infection. antibiotics and other treatment will control it. No need to worry just about reports. If symptoms and signs don't improve as expected, then only you need to think twice. Also do further tests as advised by your pediatrician and also consult a pediatric nephrologist

Nothing to worry. There is infection and that has to cured completely. Continue the medications as advised by the doctor. Few children do get these problems, so they require monitoring and follow-ups.
