Shaving pain
I had done ct pulmonary angiography with cect abdomen on same day.because of chest pain .1 month back x ray shows minimal bilateral thin pleural effusion noted .the chest pain in right side of breast and back and middle of xiphoid region back and front.report is normal.but still having pain .do I need ct chest or no need.ct pulmonary angiography is enough or not .to detect lung problem.plz reply.i need ur advice.

Pleural effusion can be better picked up with ultrasound, even minimal effusion. You would require a cardiac evaluation and few blood tests too,

C.t. chest would be better to see the effusion in detail and condition of lung tissue, mediastinal lymph nodes.
Also get cbp with ESR done .
Share results online and details of your symptoms.
For pain you can take tab combiflam one every 8hours for 3 to 4 days, after meals.
