Sharp and shooting lower back pain

4 and a half month pregnant and I am experiencing sudden sharp lower back pain right in the middle point of lower back. The pain so intense that I can't sit or stand straight. Can't walk without support. Even while sleeping if I try to move an inch I feel a shooting pain in my back and wake up because of that. Is it back strain or what? And what medication should I take to ease it.

You should do some exercises for your back and calf muscles. Further explanation can be done by giving a demonstration. Medicines have a limited role. You should look after your hydration and take Calcium tablets with Zinc and Magnesium and also take Neurobion

Back pain this intense in pregnancy needs attention. Not being able to sit, stand or move without a shooting pain goes beyond usual pregnancy strain.
