Always constipated, sometimes go without a bowel movement for 3-5 days even after taking Lactifiber which was prescribed by my doctor. I was also diagnosed with mind rectal mucosa prolapse.

Mucosal prolapse needs further evaluation with MR defecogram. Though surgical correction is the best treatment for prolapse which may also resolve constipation, medical management can be tried for constipation initially and observed.
