Severe lower back n nerve pain

Last few weeks I'm having severe pain in my lower back which increases till the legs. Now have developed sudden severe pain in my right hand fore finger n some times middle finger aswell. Showed to dr. Have attached x-ray n he gave me calcium n painkiller tablet which I have to take 2-3 tabs a day for the pain. Unable to do any work n even walk. Feel breathless when the pain increases. Please advise

There is straightening of lumbar spine with decreased disc space at L5-S1. Continue the analgesics+ muscle relaxant ,along with with local application like powergesic gel. Use LS corset. Don't lift weights or flex.
Next Steps
If pain doesn't subside get physiotherapy. If the tingling sensation or any numbness in leg get an MRI of spine
