Severe Leg pain after loose motions

My daughter had loose motions but not too frequent since two days and also fever was only once around 100, but suddenly today morning she started complaining of severe leg pain and was unable to move or stand or walk. Please suggest what needs to done

Dear Parent...I understand ur concern... 1. For fever and Leg pain Continue Paracetamol 2. Adequate hydration 3. Bed rest, avoid any exertion 4. Watch for warning signs (severe abdominal pain, vomiting, lethargic child, cold peripheries, bleeding from any site) Rest u can consult me..I will guide u through this illness of your child

Looks like she has developed a viral infection and leg pain is a part of this. Simply do gentle massage and if really trouble some use paracetamol like Calpol

Severe leg pain during or after loose stools can be due to multiple reasons 1.Dehydration (less water content in the body) 2.Low Electrolytes How ever child requires detailed evaluation to comment on Would suggest you to give ORS (WHO approved sachets like electral powder) in mean time.
