Hi . Good evening. As you mentioned the RCT was done 5 years back and you didn’t have any issue till of late, it’s my opinion that there should not be any issue with the RCT or the crown. The gums surrounding the next live tooth may have receded down exposing the fresh root surface which may be causing the sensitivity. However as nothing much can be done during the lockdown period, it would be advisable to use a desensitisation tooth paste like sensodyne tooth paste and avoid cold and too hot beverages and food till you find any dentist for help.

Hi You will have to get a visual check up done to get checked for the adjacent teeth, as root canal treated cannot be sensitive. Probably the adjacent teeth may be affected
Next Steps
Get a visual check up and xray done
Health Tips
Keep doing warm saline rinses to keep that area clean and free from food lodgement.

Keep the area between the tooth and cap clean by using floss or interdental brush. You can use desensitizing mouthwash like Senquel AD.
Next Steps
Get a tooth xray done to know if teeth next to the cap have caught up with any cavities.  Xray will also show the status of your previous cap and root canal procedure.
Health Tips
Do not use toothpick as it will cause more damage.
