Both ODC and anxiety have symptoms of unwanted thoughts, overthinking. However in OCD unwanted thoughts lead to unwanted action. But in anxiety the individual stops with unwanted thinking and doesn't proceed with action.
Please seek help from a clinical psychologist and from what you tell,it looks like a Generalized anxiety disorder. But it could be something else as well, we can't conform until a lot of other symptoms are known.
