My father is not willing to visit the doctor...how to get him to the doctor he is getting violent when we ask him to get medical help...he is in govt service

Hello. Convince him for a regular health check up and then consult a psychiatrist. If he is very agitated you can give some medication which will help him to understand his illness. Also need further information to explore more

Take his case to a psychiatrist.. with past papers and explain the situation.. he might give you few medication to calm him down means as per treatment of psychosis..to be given with food etc. once it starts working on him.. he will develop little insight to come or else admission in hospital..
