Scar ectopic treatment
I recently had a scar ectopic . Even though there is a good gap of 6 years after my first c section I had scar ectopic. Had surgery to remove pregnancy. Will it be because of the uterine niche ( Isthmocele) from the previous C section that happened 6 years ago ? If I get first treated for it before planning pregnancy again, will the chances of scar ectopic happening again reduce ?

It is not mandatory that every isthmocoele will arise in a scar ectopic. But there is slightly increased risk. It could be an isolated event and next pregnancy might be normal. Surgery is based on how big the defect it.
