Root canal nd thyroid

My root canal is over and x-rays show normal .Still pain is there.Healing is very slow.Doctor asked me if I have thyroid issue.Whats the relation bw RCT and thyroid?

Hello, If pain persists for more then 2 weeks then it has to be checked usually after RCT a minimal disturbance, discomfort and pain Is seen.

There is normally no connection between thyroid and root canal treatment. Response can be slow in diabetes etc. But pain can occur upto 2 weeks after the root canal. If it persists beyond that then it should be checked
