Is root canal painful ? A dentist has advised me to go for it but I am really scared about the procedure ..from childhood i fear from dentist and dental chair but I feel embarrassed to tell to the dentist  .. ..are there any other options other than root canal ?

Hi...if you want to save tooth RCT is the only option or else you will need to extract that tooth(which is not an option as it's always better to save tooth)...I understand your fear but no one can help you with that unless u overcome your fear...RCT is not painful...so get over your fear of dentist and get it done or else it will cause you more harm..
