I am undergoing a root canal treatment and the cotton plug which was pinned on my infected tooth got out. I have my next root canal appointment in 7 days . What should i do ?

Hi ..sometimes dentist put cotton pillet to allow infection to drain from the tooth..if cotton came out early ..please visit dentist as chances of food particles might get deposited in the tooth and tooth might become painful
