2018-10-16 05:35:12
Hi, I had root canal recently and later the filling up of the canal after a day i feel terrible throbbing pain below my tooth so my dentist remove the filling and leave it opened for some days, after she filled my canal and shaped the top for crown i begin to experience the same pain, now again she has cleaned it and leave it opened and asked me to take antibiotics for 3 days. I have experience terrible pain during last month i wonder what could be the cause and will my tooth ever be able to recover. Many thanks

Hello Please get an x ray done for us to guide you further. Secondly due to any remaining infection the pain could be present. You need to be clinically examined to comment further in this regard.
Next Steps
visit a dentist for an x ray
Health Tips
you need to be symptomless ( without pain) before the final step of the crown  is done and even before that the last step of root canal is done.

If the tooth is properly root canaled then it can be saved. Infection has to be completely treated before crown is done else it will keep troubling you
