Right side pain even after drainage
I have been diagnosed with TB in the Pleura, Iam on DOT treatment , It has been almost been more than one month of the treatment and water drainage, my right side of the lung still hurts. Iam not able to sleep well towards right. My uric acid is 11 and cholesterol is 224. Is it because of these Anti TB Drug? What to do?
Pain on rt side is due to pleural involvement and it will take some time to resolve. U need to take sos painkillers for the same.
Regarding ur raised uric acid it can be due to anti tubercular drugs

Uric acid level increases due to anti tb medicine name pyrazinamide ....you should do chest xray again if right side chest pain persist and consult to PULMONOLOGIST for better treatment .

All mdr drugs are having side effects. Nothing to worry. Our Indians can tolerate them.The raise of uric acid may be due to Att.pain is due to plueral involvement by Tb.it WI subside by Att.pl continue Att.pl consult with Pulmonologist online with all the reports and treatment taken.
