Hi ... According to MRI it is full thickness tear of ACL ACL reconstruction is not an emergency , you can go for it when you are free... It is an elective surgery... But you require reconstruction... Till the time you go for physiotherapy in the form of hamstring strengthen exercises...

Avoid sitting Cross legged. Avoid Squatting- Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports Taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area Contrast Fomentation (Hot and Cold).

In my opinion u must go for the surgery... it's really safe and common surgery in today's time...if u will delay then more complications can come in your later age...so it's useless thinking on delaying the surgery...do it as soon as possible u can as it's a complete tear of acl and surgery followed by physiotherapy session is a must... with cold fermentation.. take care get well soon

Your report state that it is full thickness tear.you need clinical evaluation. Hello., You can delay the surgery for some time, but till that time you have to do good strengthening for your knee under physio as that is very important because without that chances of worsening the case will be even more

The ligament will require surgery but you can get it done after your engagement. I am persuming that there is no other problem like locking of the knee etc.
