Wrist drop should be evaluated by ortho or neurologist. Don't take it lightly. Maybe mri is not needed. What is the duration of the problem. How did it start and many other questions need to be addressed.

How can physiotherapists just start treatment without looking for a cause. I dont understand that you have a modality and just using it...get investigated. Is it due to trauma or some condition like myelopathy. No amount of physio will help u if compressive etiology persists. Please do not mislead patients.

Hello dear There's no need for brain investigation, because it's wrist drop which might be due to nerve injury or compression  supplying the wrist. Nerve injury can be cured with electical stimulation and some other modalities and exercises depending upon the extent of nerve injury. You need to have physiotherapy treatment after proper assessment.

Hello there, There are many reasons for wrist drop. MRI scan is not necessary if no head injury. It's a localised problem what you are facing. Consult one Physiotherapist and start muscle stimulation for your wrist drop. Warm up your muscles around the forearm region twice a day. Start strengthening exercises.
